Mixed Martial Arts
In recent years, MMA has become one of the world’s most popular and in-demand sports, particularly because
of its unique combination of so many disciplines, including Boxing, Wrestling, BJJ, and Muay Thai, just to
name a few. While each of these disciplines can be effective independently, MMA blends these forms and
challenges your body and mind to reach a new level of prowess.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has certainly boosted the popularity of MMA, as well as the more recent
emergence of ONE FC in Asia, but one fact is clear – the recent rise of MMA has changed how the world
views martial arts. We can help you gain your first experiences in this rewarding new discipline, or improve
your skills with innovative training techniques if you have already trained in MMA in the past.

Amateur boxing is both an Olympic and Commonwealth sport and is a common fixture in most international games—it also has its own World Championships. Boxing is supervised by a referee over a series of one- to three-minute intervals called rounds. The result is decided when an opponent is deemed incapable to continue by a referee, is disqualified for breaking a rule, resigns by throwing in a towel, or is pronounced the winner or loser based on the judges' scorecards at the end of the contest. In the event that both fighters gain equal scores from the judges, the fight is considered a draw.

Over the past twenty years, one of the largest developments in the global martial arts world has been the rise in
popularity of Muay Thai. This complex and demanding martial art is sometimes referred to as the “Art of Eight
Limbs”, because of its complete use of the body’s limbs, utilizing punches and kicks, as well as elbow and
knee strikes. This elegant and effective form of self-defense also makes it a favorite for those looking to
improve those skills.
Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand, and has long been popular in that part of the world. It is only
recently, perhaps due to the globalization of martial arts disciplines, that Muay Thai has become internationally
sought after. The high cardiovascular demands of Muay Thai make it ideal for shedding those extra pounds
and toning your muscles, while simultaneously increasing flexibility, improving body control, and learning to
train focused areas of the body in an effective way.

The most unique aspect of BJJ is that it is specifically designed around the idea that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant using precise leverage strategies and proper technique. This highly competitive and physically demanding discipline has gained international popularity in recent decades and is intensely based on real-life fighting techniques.
As one of the most effective martial arts on the planet, BJJ is a physically rewarding and confidence-building sport that can offer you serious protection from any potential dangers in your life. You may not realize it, but 95% of street fights end up on the ground, which is why a highly stylized and accurate ground-based fighting system is so desirable for potential members. BJJ is primarily a grappling-based martial art, utilizing controlling positions, joint locks, and chokes.
